More accessible bathrooms for disabled persons, the elderly and customers post-treatment

Q: My spouse, family member or friend will soon be returning home from hospital and we require an adapted bathroom.

A: We are able to provide and install grab rails handrails safety equipment and Pleat wet room facilities (so there is no need to step in and out of the shower) low-level shower cubicles with handles (for example, with a 2 inch step in), aids to lower and raise oneself from a WC.

Relocating a bathroom downstairs

Providing there is drainage downstairs a bathroom can be moved to a downstairs location, if climbing stairs has become more difficult. If sufficient drainage is not available downstairs a Saniflow system can be fitted. Bath or toilet water can be pumped into a Saniflow which then takes away waste. This can be much cheaper than having to have drainage installed.

Some people have waste water pipework running down the outside wall in line with the location for the new bathroom. If this is the case then gravity alone can be used to remove the waste water.

The right fixtures and fittings

We are an independent business and can install a wide range disabled access bathroom furnishings. We find brands such as Noble to be very good. However, we can also install equipment and furnishings that you have sourced yourself.
